Corinth and Loutraki, a perfect day filled with discovery and relaxation.
Corinth and Loutraki Day Trip
Embark on a westward journey from Athens, tracing the scenic coastal route to the iconic Corinth Canal. This engineering marvel separates the Peloponnese from mainland Greece, offering a brief yet awe-inspiring stop.
In a mere 10-minute drive, we arrive at Ancient Corinth, a town steeped in history where Saint Paul once preached and resided for two years. Its ancient riches, epitomized by the remains of the Apollo Temple from the 6th century BC and the Ancient Agora, evoke the prosperity of this once-thriving city.
Loutraki awaits, a charming seaside city with inviting beaches and an array of local gems for dining and drinks. Just an hour from Athens, Loutraki is a hidden gem off the beaten path. Perched atop Mount Gerania is the 11th-century monastery of Saint Patapios, accessible by car, offering breathtaking views of the northern Peloponnese, Corinthian Isthmus, and the Saronic Gulf.
Venture to the secret paradise of Lake Vouliagmeni, a lagoon nestled 16 kilometers northwest of Loutraki. Surrounded by archaeological wonders and the settlement of Perachora, this pristine lake boasts a sandy beach and a maximum depth of 40 meters. Here, natural beauty abounds, from mountains and waterfalls to the tranquil allure of the lake.
This tour seamlessly weaves together archaeological wonders, religious monuments, Greek natural splendor, and authentic local experiences. Immerse yourself in a journey that combines exploration and relaxation, ensuring you make the most of your time in Greece. Enjoy the best private Corinth and Loutraki Day Trip!
